My beat this week was art and entertainment. Here were the top stories:

1. Joan Rivers Facebook account posts about the new Iphone 6 although Rivers has been dead for weeks.

2. Chicago native, Vince Vaughn is joining the cast of True Detective

3. Jimmy Kimmel is now coming to do a show in Chicago after losing a bet with Mayor Rahm Emanauel.

4. More nude shots of celebrities were released. Celebrities included Kim Kardashian, Mary Kate Olsen, Vanessa Hudgens, and more.

5. Emma Watson launches the new “He For She” campaign.

6. Leonardo Dicaprio, Al gore, and others participated in the “Peoples Climate March” in Manhattan this past weekend.

7. The David Bowie exhibit, “David Bowie Is” opens and the Museum of Contemporary Art.

My opinion piece this week is a review of the new David Bowie exhibit at the Museum of Contemporary Art. The review was published in the Sun-Times and is written by Kevin Nance. I really like how Nance used a lot of images of throughout the review as well as embed a Youtube video. The use of media added a cool element to the review and made it more interactive.
